Starfish Animal Haven, Inc. is a non-profit, no-kill, volunteer based animal rescue organization serving New Jersey.  We are dedicated to rescuing animals left homeless for whatever reason – animals in public shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia, dogs and cats given up by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect.

We are an organization dedicated to restoring the animals under our care to physical and emotional health as they await placement in loving, responsible homes.

Animals in our care will be spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and will be placed in nurturing foster homes or boarding until a permanent home is found.  We assist animals in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement.
